Okay. So I've been using GIMP for about two years now and generally as long as I have high quality photos to work with and with a lot of practice I'm fairly satisfied with the outcome of most everything I make. I never try to make anything terribly fancy with it but I feel like if I had the tools I could do a lot more graphic wise.

So I looked into getting Photoshop a while back and I just checked again tonight and it says that CS4 is $700 unless you're upgrading, where it's $200.

So, my question is, for all those using Photoshop did you really pay $700 for it? If not, how did you get your hands on it?

I guess this could go for PSP too, althought that's only listed as $60 on their wesbite, would users of that program recommend it as comparable to Photoshop?

belatedly, since i've already been kind of awol most of the week, but i'm on a bbhiatus. i'm just, idk, everything is crazy hectic and i feel like hot (by which i mean overheated and not, you know, oohlala) ass, and just.. whatever, you know? plus my comp is being a dickhead (or alternatively, i haven't cleaned out the files or burned anything in, um, well a year and it's a little constipated) so trying to fix that. and i need to pack up the stuff in my room before the cats destroy everything, because they took out another book yesterday and that shit is just not on :|| and oh god, i need to clean before i pack, because, ew. ..anyways!

i am so, so sorry to the peeps i owe tags and/or had some little plot stuffs going on with. i'll tag/comment/email first thing .. monday. yeah, monday sounds good. give myself the rest of this weekend to organize my life to function in some form of normalcy instead of constant flighty hecticness. ♥ y'all to pieces
